2/28 – Flu Be Gone

THIS SESSION IS FOR DIRECTORS ONLY. YOU MUST ATTEND ON THE TIME AND DATE SPECIFIED – FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2025 – 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM.

The flu is a highly contagious and debilitating illness that attacks people of all ages. This
educational experience will give tips for preventing the flu and how to treat this illness once a person contracts the flu. We can work together to make the Flu Be Gone for everyone.

Upon completion of this educational experience, the learners will:

• Create physically safe environments for children
• Communicate with families and promote good health practices to provide an
  environment that contributes to the prevention of communicable disease
• Adhere to state licensing rules and regulations that address infectious disease control.
• Recognize the importance of children’s physical well-being as a basic and necessary
  foundation for all growth, development, and learning.
