September 14 – Multicultural Holidays and Activities

This training will be held live online on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 9:00 am – 11:oo am EST.

Enjoy these hands-on activities that lead to appreciating the differences in the families served in the child care facility.

After completing this class, participants will:

• Recognize the importance of using information about each family’s culture in interactions with children.
• Design activities that are responsive to individual children’s culture, in order to promote inclusive, welcoming environments for all children.
• Understand culturally diverse curriculum reflective of the enrollment and the community.
