Introduction to TJac’s Children and Youth Ministry

• Description: The Well Able Training Service provides a bible-based training for adults seeking to minister to children and youth in a church or parachurch setting. The training sessions provide biblical, theological, and practical foundations while equipping volunteers, lay leaders, youth pastors, youth leaders, Sunday school teachers, and small group leaders with the essential skills and knowledge to lead, teach, and disciple our children and youth. The curriculum is age and developmentally appropriate for children and youth ages 5-18. The training will also integrate adult family members into the incredible experiences children and youth enjoy. The training will design worship experiences where our children and youth understand the Word of God in a manner that leads them to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
• Objectives:
  • Understand the spiritual development of children and adolescents.
  • Plan and execute programs and events, including small groups, worship services, and outreach.
  • Recruit, train, and manage ministry volunteer and leaders.
