May 10 – Baby, It’s Hot Outside

This online live training session will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm EDT.

Infants, toddlers, and young children make up the second largest population to die as a result of excessive heat. This training session will provide tips and techniques that will keep children safe during the summer months.

In this training session, you will:

• Discuss ways to keep young children cool and comfortable during warm weather months
• Create fun outdoor activities when the weather is warm or hot
• Identify ways to ensure children are not left unattended in vehicles
• Develop a classroom activity that will protect the environment from climate change
